BIO

Hello, Everyone!

My name is Lady Chapell Cosplay or you can call me Chapell. I loved dressing up as a kid and pretending to someone's else especially on Halloween. Memories as from the 90s. Let's fast forward to 2018 in the adult world, I went to my first anime convention ever in Columbus, Ohio called Matsuricon. I never knew that this even existed! Anime and video games are my favorite hobbies and my inner otaku (fan of popular culture in Japanese) screamed for excitement and pure joy. At Matsuricon, my first cosplay was Sailor Mars (Sailor Moon) and did my first professional cosplay shoot with that cosplay. After I left, I knew that I could this to help myself and to help others achieve their inner otaku. Cosplay is here to stay and change my life forever.

I am a Professional Cosplayer and a Professional Cosplay Published Model for a year and a half. I have done over 20 cosplays and not stopping at any time soon. I have bought, commission, and sewn cosplays in the best of my abilities of my favorite characters that give me joy and empowerment. I love to enact with other cosplayers and contuine learning the craft of cosplay. As a cosplay model, I have the privilege to be featured in cosplay magazines like for example, Cosplay Realm Magazine, and Cosplay Art & Photography Magazine to name a few. I support small businesses within the cosplay community across the world from keychains to clothes. On that note, body positivity is critical to love your body first and help others to accept their own bodies second. Never forget that your body is yours and an opinion is just opinion. Strike that pose and uplift to be a role model to the next generation. Cosplay is second love yet my family is always first.

In my personal life, I am a family woman handling my crazy adventures with my daughter and my husband. The confidence I've gained over the years, I am a proud 33-year-old curvy woman that can do anything (unless my daughter calls me to watch Netflix movies) in front and behind the camera. Before cosplaying, I was a Professional Published International Model and a Professional Pose Coach for over three years. With over 70 magazine publications, I am just truly blessed! I have learn so much about business, the camera, and the people who I've had to privilege to work with. I want people to know that no matter where you came from, I am here for you. I want to help you succeed in cosplay and in life. We can change the world one cosplay at a time. Never give up because your cosplay is power.

Thank you and I hope to see you at the next convention.
